More than 30-year old wines root in our warmest, south-facing vineyard location in Bodonci, where the terroir is characterised by large amounts of flint gravel.
CHARDONNAY
TASTING NOTES
A whirling kaleidoscope on the nose: sandalwood, saffron, paprika, vanilla pod, sumac, apricots. Creaminess and apricots on the palate, beautifully integrated, zippy acidity. The finish, at the moment, is oak-stamped, but give it a couple of years and it will be all fruit and silk. Sensuous but serious. Pears and cedar with a wonderful sandy connected-to-the-earth-ness on the very end.
